How to calculate your grade average
Test your growing accounting skills
Head of the class, or pretty close? Your hard work as a university student pays off here. Where numeric grades are reported on a student's transcript(s), they will be used in the calculation. Where the student's grades are reported only in letter form, they will be converted into numeric grades as shown in the second column of the conversion table opposite.
The numeric grades are averaged and converted to a letter grade, based on the grade range defined in the third column opposite. For universities that do not use the grade ranges, as defined in the table, consult the Institute for the numerical grade assigned.
