Course Credit & Grade

Required Course Credits and Grades

We're here to help give you the tools you need to conquer the world. The 51-credit hour requirement may be fulfilled by receiving credit at the time of registration for degree-credit courses previously completed at university or by completing additional degree-credit courses on a part-time basis following registration.

The Schedule of Courses Recognized for Institute Credit outlines the courses needed to fulfill the 51-credit hour requirement. This schedule includes degree-credit courses normally offered in the current academic year as part of a degree program in commerce and business administration programs at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Please note that, in some cases, degree-credit courses taken during earlier years may have been renumbered. Please check with the Institute for prior years.

Grade Requirements

An average grade of B- (70% or greater) in the courses comprising the "51 credit-hour requirement" must be obtained, with a passing grade in each course.

Transfer Credits and Course Mixes Between Universities

Please be aware that, although a recognized university may have granted you a transfer credit or an exemption for a course taken at a post-secondary institution, the course may NOT fulfill the Institute's requirements. The Institute will assess ALL transfer credits and exemptions!

It is also essential that students contact the Institute for a preliminary assessment prior to mixing courses between different post-secondary institutions to avoid course content overlap and denial of Institute credits.
